Espresso is at the heart of many coffee lovers. You probably know that you can choose and adjust the number of shots in your espresso. But, do you know the difference between a classic espresso shot and a restart shot?
The word resterto means “restricted” in Italian. In the world of coffee, Resterto refers to a short (limited) shot of an espresso, meaning that Barista pours only the first part of a full-length espresso shot into the cup!
To make a restorate, use the same type of coffee used for full espresso shots, but less hot water sinks under the coffee beans, resulting in a smaller, thicker, more palatable taste. It's sweeter and richer.
